Today as we celebrate the 75 years of Independence of India, it’s also the 150th birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo. The bedrock of the political philosophy of Sri Aurobindo was his concept of spiritual nationalism and the divinity of the motherland. His theory of Spiritual Nationalism is a great synthesis of philosophies of both east and west integrated into one philosophy. His philosophy of Spiritual Nationalism is for the benefit of humanity and not just Indians. He envisaged a new society and a new civilization. Ravana’s Teachings

This story is not in Ramcharitmanas or in Valmiki Ramayana, but it was probably added in some later versions of Ramayana. This story is, however, very famous. After airing fatal arrow on the battlefield of Lanka, Lord Rama told his brother Lakshmana: “Go to Ravana quickly before he dies and request him to share whatever knowledge he can. Above All Is Humanity, None Else

Differences are normal and should always be welcome, but any demonic thought that intends to harm the humanity should be nipped in the bud. When we speak of tolerance, it’s expected from each of us. There should not be any intolerant action by anybody that may incite others to react in an intolerant manner. Many a time, we expect tolerance from others while we behave in an intolerant manner.
