Shahbandar café is one of Bagh­dad’s few remaining traditional cultural cafés. Since opening its doors, Shahbandar café had become a hub of Baghdad’s intellectual life, drawing poets and politicians to its wooden benches and photo-lined walls.  The café still stands, a testament to the resilience of the country and the capital, Baghdad, even if so much has happened here. From British rule to modern-day Iraq, Shahbandar has lived through the birth of a nation, the toppling of its monarchy, decades of domination by Saddam Hussein, the drama of the US-led invasion and the bloody chaos that followed. Himalayan Zoological Park (Gangtok)

Himalayan Zoological Park, in Gangtok, is located on a hill near Ganesh Tok. It is at an altitude of 5,840 ft. It is a large zoo and visitors need to walk a considerable distance to see all that the zoo has to offer. Some of the Himalayan fauna in the zoo are Himalayan Black Bear, snow leopard, the leopard cat, Tibetan wolf, and Red Pandas besides some beautiful birds. The Gangtok Ropeway

If you are in Gangtok you must visit rope-way or cable cars located at Deorali market. The ride is fast, there is no pollution, and the views are breathtaking. The customers are mostly tourists with kids, and to accommodate their need to take photos and videos the cable cars actually pause for a couple of minutes in the middle of the ride—up and down swinging adding to the passengers’ excitement.
